ABOUT FRAN
Fran Henke has packed a lot into a life. She is a journalist, poet, photographer and author of 50 years experience in radio, television, newspapers, magazine, and book publishing in Australia and overseas. She has worked as a media adviser for State and Federal MPs. From 1979-82 she was a member of the Commonwealth Film Censorship Board. Her books and poetry have been published as Frances Kelly, aka George Davis, as well as Frances Henke. The latest is book three in a trilogy of historical novels 'An Imperfect Calendar' published by Flying Pony Press. Fran's camera goes everywhere, but most favoured – the end of Hastings jetty at dawn, where despite limitations on walking, she is able to photograph seabirds and scenes that might stay the same, but change by the hour with the light.
